2. Payment Terms

Invoices must be paid in full to secure your project and begin work, unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.

Payments are quoted in CAD/USD and include the full scope of agreed deliverables.

For ongoing updates, additional work, or services outside the original agreement, a rate of $80 per hour will apply. This includes tasks such as blog posts, social media management, or marketing updates.
3. Taxes
All prices are subject to an additional 5% Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST), which will be applied at checkout. Accepted payment methods include electronic bank transfer, email transfer, and credit card.
4. Cancellation Policy

50% of the total project fee is non-refundable once payment is made. This covers initial planning, research, and preparatory efforts.

After work has commenced, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and do not exempt clients from payment obligations for completed portions of the project.
5. Scope of Work

Agreed deliverables, timelines, and costs will be detailed in a formal proposal or contract.

Changes or additions to the scope of work may result in additional fees and adjusted timelines. Such changes must be agreed upon by both parties before implementation.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure timely project delivery, clients are responsible for:

Providing all necessary materials, content, and approvals promptly.

Maintaining regular communication throughout the project to prevent delays.

Ensuring provided content complies with copyright and legal requirements.
7. Revisions Policy

Projects include up to three rounds of revisions unless specified otherwise in the agreement.

Additional revisions after the completion of deliverables will be billed at the standard hourly rate of $80.
8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the project.

Pacific West Web Design will not share or disclose client information without explicit permission.
9. Liability

Pacific West Web Design is not liable for losses or damages resulting from:

Website errors or downtime caused by hosting providers or third-party software.

Issues stemming from incorrect or incomplete client-provided content.

Unauthorized modifications made by the client or third parties after project completion.

Clients are responsible for maintaining backups of all website content and data.
10. Termination of Services

Services may be terminated if clients fail to meet payment schedules or provide required content and approvals within agreed timelines.

Work completed up to the termination date will be billed in full.
11. Ownership Rights

Upon final payment, all deliverables created by Pacific West Web Design become the property of the client.

Pacific West Web Design reserves the right to showcase completed work in its portfolio and on social media accounts unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
12. Privacy Policy

Only essential data required to provide services will be collected and will not be shared without explicit consent unless required by law.
